Our Story
Walkins Public School was founded in 1995 by visionary educators who believed that great schooling goes beyond textbooks. Starting with just 120 students and 12 teachers in a modest building, we have grown into one of the region’s most respected institutions with over 1 200 students and 80 faculty members.
Our CBSE-affiliated curriculum is designed to nurture critical thinkers, compassionate citizens, and lifelong learners. Every policy, programme, and tradition at Walkins traces back to one unwavering belief: every child deserves an education that unlocks their unique potential.
Today, our alumni lead in medicine, engineering, law, arts, and entrepreneurship across the globe — a testament to the foundation laid within our walls.
1995 — The Beginning
Founded with 120 students and 12 dedicated teachers.
2003 — Senior Secondary Added
Grades 11 & 12 launched with Science and Commerce streams.
2012 — New Campus Inaugurated
State-of-the-art labs, library, and sports complex unveiled.
2024 — State Rank #1
Awarded the state’s highest school excellence ranking for the third consecutive year.
